Tonight I got my first taste of Peruvian cuisine at a local place here in Denver called Los Cabos II (click link). Beautiful pictures of Peru lined the dimly lit walls and authentic music accompanied our meal. Our Colombian native server was genuine and kind. Most importantly, the food was excellent.
We started with the Ceviche, a classic seafood dish:
It had calamari and some very tasty tentacles…as well as a unique cold sweet potato. (Don’t forget that Peru is home to 350 varieties of potatoes!)
Then Matt ordered a beans and beef entree and I had a roasted chicken dish called Pollo a la Brasa. I forgot to take a picture of our main course…it looked so good I just started eating!
I hear this guy eats at Los Cabos every day!
